Driving License From Scratch

To apply and obtain a driving licence, firstly you have to be registered in the system of Department of Road Transport and more particularly, have Provisional (Learner’s) licence.

In case of Cypriots:

The applicant must be over 17 years old.

In case of foreigners:

The applicant to take the theory test and obtain the Provisional has to have a visa (yellow or pink slip) aged 6 months from issue date or proof i.e. Social Insurance statement of employment showing 6 full months in Cyprus – and the above.

The test for the Provisional is just theory, so you can study the traffic signs and Highway code in our website.

After obtaining the Provisional licence (duration 1 year and subject to renewal), we apply for a driving test. The dates of the driving tests are issued from the Road Transport Department in a “first come, first served” policy.

Once the test date is booked, your instructor will make sure that you are fully ready on the day and go for the licence!
